Eight trades, one theme

Gremio is a block theme: the whole site is edited from the WordPress editor (full site editing), without touching code. It is made for the trades that come to people's homes —for the moment someone has a breakdown and looks for a phone number on their mobile.

The eight trades are included. Each one has its own home page with the structure it really needs: the locksmith shows prices and 24/7 call-outs, the renovator before-and-after work with the lead times, the electrician the certificate and the consumer unit. You pick the trade, change the texts and the photos, and the site is ready.

What it comes with

Measured in the theme you download, not in a list of promises.

• Sixty patterns: the home pages of the eight trades and the loose pieces (services, reviews, contact, prices) to build the whole site for one trade or just the part you want.
• Eight style variations, one per trade, inside the theme: the same site with eight faces. Pick one under Appearance → Editor → Styles, without touching code.
• Six block templates: home page, page, post, archive, search and 404 error.
• Two fonts bundled with the theme (Quicksand for headings and Montserrat for body text), as woff2 files inside the folder. No requests to Google or anyone else.
• No theme JavaScript and not a single third-party request. You can check it in the HTML: it only loads its fonts, its photos and its stylesheet.
• The phone number always in view, in the header, and it does not hide when you scroll down.
• Free and licensed GPL (v2 or later), with no hidden paid version and no missing modules.

How to change trade

The same theme works for all eight trades: you change the style and drop in the home page of the trade you want. It is explained step by step, with the pitfalls you will run into along the way.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.5 or later.
• PHP 8.1 or later.
• License: GNU GPL v2 or later.
• Theme languages: English and Spanish (the theme ships the Spanish translation inside).
