Terms and conditions
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms govern the purchase and use of the licences for the FaroWP themes and plugins. By buying, you accept them. They are written so that it is clear exactly what you are buying, and what happens if one day you decide not to continue.
1. Who contracts and who sells
Sells Juan Alberto Blanco Alarcón, NIF 78966098Z, with address at Carrer dels Cedrers, 6 · 08184 Palau-solità i Plegamans (Barcelona) (trade name FaroWP), email [email protected]. The person who contracts is the buyer, who must be of legal age and act as a professional or as an end consumer, as the case may be.
2. What exactly you are buying
You buy a plan: the right to receive new versions and support for the FaroWP products included in that plan, for the period purchased and for the number of sites the plan states. The plan does not change the licence of the code (it is GPL, the same for everyone): it changes what we give you —updates, support and access to the paid products— and on how many sites.
- One product: a single theme or plugin, for 1 site.
- Club FaroWP: the whole catalogue, including anything we publish while the plan is active, for 5 sites.
- Agency: the same as the Club, for 25 sites and without our brand in the dashboard.
3. Price, payment and invoice
- Prices are shown including VAT and in euros.
- There are no subscriptions. The payment is a one-off for the contracted period and no fee renews by itself: we neither keep your card to charge you later nor is there any direct debit.
- Payment is made on Stripe's secure page. We neither see nor store your card details.
- We issue an invoice with your tax details if you provide them; write to us at [email protected] and we will send it to you.
4. How many sites you can use
The licence activates on as many sites as you like, up to the limit of your plan. From your client area you can see which sites it is active on and you can release one in order to install it on another: the site you release keeps working with what it has installed, it simply stops counting towards your limit.
5. Expiry: what happens when it ends
- We notify you by email before it expires, and you decide.
- Your site does not go dark. When it expires, your WordPress keeps working with the version it has installed.
- What is lost is access to the new versions and to support.
- If you renew, the same licence is extended: you keep your key and you do not have to touch anything on your sites.
- Products bought for life do not expire: they include the new versions and support for as long as FaroWP keeps maintaining that product.
6. What the licence does not include
- The hosting of your site or the domain.
- Installation and configuration (it is a separate service, quoted beforehand).
- Maintenance of your WordPress, of other themes or plugins, or of your server.
- Custom developments not published in our catalogue.
- Conflicts caused by other plugins or by changes made by third parties, although we will help you locate them whenever your licence is current.
7. Support
Support is provided by email at [email protected], on business days. We deal with matters related to how our products work on standard WordPress installations. We do not deal with custom modifications or with problems unrelated to our products.
8. Warranties and refunds
- Legal warranty of conformity: the one the law grants you as a consumer. Nothing in this document limits it.
- 30-day commercial warranty: you can ask for a refund of the amount within the 30 days following the purchase. The details are in the Refunds policy.
- Right of withdrawal: as this is digital content delivered immediately (the key and the downloads are available as soon as the payment is completed), the law allows the customer to waive the 14-day withdrawal right by giving express consent and knowing that, on starting performance, they lose that right (article 103.m of the texto refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios — the consolidated text of the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users). That consent is collected on the payment page itself. The 30-day commercial warranty in the previous point is maintained in all cases.
9. Permitted use and abuse
The licence is for you or for your company and covers the number of sites in your plan. You may not share it publicly or resell access to our support or our updates as if they were yours. Code released under the GPL you may redistribute as that licence allows, but you may not use the FaroWP name or present yourself as its author. You may not attempt to break into the licensing system either. If we detect abusive use, we may suspend the licence and, where appropriate, refund you the unused part, notifying you beforehand and explaining the reason.
10. Liability
We are responsible for our products and for our services. Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the licence. We are not responsible for damage that is not a direct consequence of a failure on our part, nor for the loss of data that depends on your own backups.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to adapt them to legal or service changes. If they affect ongoing licences, we will notify you by email 30 days in advance and you may choose not to renew at no cost. The applicable version is the one published on this page when you bought.
12. Governing law and complaints
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your own domicile and to the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You also have available the official complaint forms of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Before anything else, write to us: almost everything is fixed with one email.
The Spanish version of this page is the one that legally binds. This English text is a translation for convenience; in case of doubt, the Spanish version prevails and can be read at https://farowp.com/terminos.
