What this site is

FaroWP is a trade name dedicated to the development and sale of licences for themes and plugins for WordPress: what is sold is access to updates and support, with a one-off payment per period and no automatic renewals.

Terms of use

Access to this site is free and open. By using the site you undertake not to make any use that harms other users, the service itself or third parties, and not to try to access restricted areas or interfere with how it runs. Access to the client area is personal: each person signs in with their own email address.

Intellectual and industrial property

The name FaroWP, the logo and the texts, photographs and design elements of this site belong to its owner or are used with authorisation. They may not be copied or reused without permission.

Our products do not all carry the same licence. Each product page and each package state theirs, and this is the summary:

• The PHP code of our WordPress themes and plugins is released under the GPL, version 2 or later, the same licence WordPress uses: you may use it, study it, modify it and redistribute it under the terms of that licence, including for commercial purposes. What is sold is not the code, but access to new versions and to support for the period and for the number of sites in the plan purchased.
• The creative assets of the themes (photographs, illustrations and compositions of our own), the documentation and the text of the product pages are not covered by the GPL: they are licensed for use together with the product they accompany. Third-party fonts and icons carry their author's licence, which travels inside the package.
• Products that are not for WordPress (Shopify themes and apps, and our own applications and services) are not free software: they are licensed under their own commercial licence, stated on their product page and in the purchase contract.

You may redistribute the GPL code, but you may not present your copy as FaroWP, use the name or logo to identify it, or resell access to our support or our updates.

Liability

We take every care to make sure the information on the site is correct and that the service works, but we cannot guarantee that the site will be available without interruptions or free of errors. We are responsible for our products under the terms of the Terms and conditions and the Refunds policy. Nothing stated here limits the rights that the law grants to consumers.

Links to other sites

If we link to third-party pages (for example, the WordPress documentation), we are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Governing law

This relationship is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts of your own domicile; in addition, the European Union makes an online dispute resolution platform available to you: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You also have the official complaint forms of the Generalitat de Catalunya at your disposal.
