Finds broken links and the 404s your visitors really hit, and fixes them without hammering the server.

== Description ==

Faro Enlaces checks the links in your content in small batches and logs the addresses that real
visitors asked for and your site could not serve. It never runs a scan from the visitor's browser,
it never asks anything of a third-party service and it keeps no IP address.

What it does:

* **Small, resumable batches.** Ten links every five minutes by default, with a time limit on every
  run, so a site with three hundred links is fully checked in under three hours and nobody notices.
* **Honest verdicts.** Only 404 and 410 are marked as broken. A bot wall (403), a rate limit (429) or
  a timeout stays as "to review", so you never chase a link that works.
* **The 404s of real visitors.** One row per path, with how many times it was asked for, the last
  time and where the visitor came from. Nothing is sent anywhere.
* **Fix in bulk, with undo.** Replace an old URL across every page in one go. The previous content of
  each page is kept, so the overview offers an "Undo" button.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the zip from Plugins → Add New.
2. Activate it.
3. Open **Faro Enlaces** in the menu. The first batch runs within five minutes; press "Check a
   batch now" to see it work straight away.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it slow down my site? =

No. The scan runs on WP-Cron in batches of ten links with a time limit, and it is the server asking
the servers, not the visitor's browser. You can lower the batch to five links if your hosting is
small.

= Does it send my data anywhere? =

No. Everything stays in your database: the links and their state, and the 404 paths. There is no
account, no API key and no telemetry.

= Why is a link "to review" and not broken? =

Because the server did not give a clear answer: it refused the check, answered with a server error or
did not answer in time. Plenty of sites block automated requests, and calling that "broken" would
send you chasing a link that works in a browser. After the retries it stays as "to review" so you
can open it yourself.

= Can it redirect the 404s to another page? =

Not in this version. Faro Enlaces finds and fixes; if you want redirects, the free Redirection
plugin does that job well and both can live together.

= What happens when I uninstall it? =

The two tables, the options and the scheduled runs are removed. Your pages and their content are
never touched.

== Changelog ==

= 0.2.2 =
* Updating by uploading the ZIP now creates the tables it needs: before, the history table was only created on activation, so an update left the chart empty and the log full of "table doesn't exist".
* Fixed two Spanish strings in the daily email and the description ("enlaces roto" -> "enlaces rotos").

= 0.2.0 =
* First version: scanner in batches, visitors 404 log, bulk replacement with undo, daily digest.
