Choose where you sell: provinces and postcodes with a clear warning at checkout.

== Description ==

Faro Cobertura stops you receiving orders you cannot fulfil. Mark the provinces or postcodes you do not cover and the checkout will tell the customer right away, before they pay, with the message you write.

**What it does**

* Checks the billing address in both the classic and the block checkout.
* Excludes whole provinces with a list of checkboxes, Ceuta and Melilla included.
* Excludes exact postcodes or by prefix: `08*` blocks the whole province of Barcelona and `280*` all of Madrid city.
* Can require Spanish postcodes to have 5 digits.
* Editable messages, so you can explain why and give a contact address.
* A test screen: try an address without placing an order.

**What it does not do**

* It does not touch prices, taxes or invoices.
* It does not change orders that are already placed: if the customer changes the address after paying, you have to review it by hand.

== Installation ==

1. Activate WooCommerce.
2. Install and activate Faro Cobertura.
3. Go to WooCommerce → Faro Cobertura and mark your zones.
4. Review the messages on the Settings tab.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can I block only some postcodes of a province? =

Yes. Do not tick the province and write the postcodes in the postcode section, one per line or with wildcards.

= Does this replace WooCommerce shipping zones? =

No. Shipping zones decide which shipping method is offered; this plugin prevents the order from being completed when the address is outside your coverage.

= Does it work with the block checkout? =

Yes, with WooCommerce 8.0 or later.

= Does it work outside Spain? =

This version covers Spain only. The country list is filtered through `faro_cobertura_paises`, so more countries can be added without rewriting the plugin.

== Changelog ==

* The checkout messages now follow the site language; the Spanish translation loads from the plugin folder.

= 0.1.1 =
* Checking a province adds its postcode prefix with a wildcard, and unchecking it removes it.
* Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife are shown as "(Canary Islands)".

= 0.1.0 =
* First version: excluded provinces and postcodes, Spanish postcode validation and editable messages.
